ABOUT ME
SAM FUHRMEister
Sam is a local to Seymour, growing up in the town before then moving to Bendigo to commence his Tertiary studies at La Trobe University in 2014. Sam completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2016 before going on to complete his Masters in Exercise Physiology in 2017.
Sam has experience in treating clients in community health, hospital settings, and private health. These differing experiences have given Sam the chance to be exposed to a wide variety of conditions in different settings.
He has been a personal trainer for the last 5 years, turning his craft in strength and conditioning in addition to general health and fitness. Sam has worked throughout the Mitchell and Strathbogie shires for the past few years but has decided to focus on Seymour and Euroa.

Sam enjoys assisting people to feel empowered about the function of their body and helping them to excel well beyond what they thought was possible. The greatest enjoyment Sam gets is seeing the delight on a person’s face when they can do something, they never dreamed possible.
TESTIMONIALS
I have been seeing Sam for about a year and a half after a major road accident 4 years ago. Although I could limp along pretty well, Sam took me right back to the start and corrected all the bad habits I had formed. He changes the exercises as you progress and is always challenging me to keep on improving. He has also greatly improved my cardio by getting me out on a bike out of the office which I have thoroughly enjoyed and I can measure my own progress by riding those routes at other times. I would definitely not be where I am today in my rehabilitation without the guidance of Sam. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

With Sam’s advice and a strengthening program my recovery from a foot injury (Plantar Fasciitis) is improving. The exercises and stretching are easy to follow and have eased the pain. Sam is encouraging and positive about getting me back into running from this injury and with correcting my posture I’m feeling physically better.
